The Authentic Practice Newsletter provides invaluable information that you can use in your coaching practice to get more clients and contains absolutely no fluff. Why not recommend this newsletter to your coaching friends and colleagues too?

Do You Know the Easy Crowd?

Do you know the easiest group of people to get to buy your coaching services? Well, I know of a group of people who are statistically 6 times more likely to use your coaching service than anyone else. Would you like to know who they are? Sure you would...

Past clients.

Yep - clients you have already worked with in the past. After all, they already know, like and trust you and hopefully they enjoyed the experience of working with you too. Are you still in touch with them?

Now stop coughing and spluttering :-)

You see, you may have helped them sort out their life to a certain point and then they moved on. Time has passed. At this point they may have another area that you could help them with. But if you haven't stayed in touch with them - why would it be top of their mind to think to contact you?

Too many coaches go on the tiring merry-go-round of finding new clients. It goes something like this: Find client, work with client, finish with client, next! Maybe not that abrupt but you get the idea.

Remember that the real secret to building a successful business in any area is having a group of repeat clients. Do this well and your seemingly endless client-searching days could be over.

So do you have strategies in place in your practice to encourage some past clients to come back and work with you when they want to?

Tips on the Easy Crowd

Here are some points to consider about your past clients:

1. Do You Have a List? - Do you have a record of all your past clients and when you last contacted them? If not, go and tickle your past client files (you have kept them haven't you?).

2. Do You Have an Attractive Message? - Do you have something to offer your past clients that could turn them into active clients? What coaching services can you present to them that you know would be relevant to their needs at the moment?

3. Do You Have a Way to Contact Them? - It's OK to have a list of past clients but it's another thing entirely to have a reason to contact them. Develop a range of strategies to stay in touch with your clients on a regular basis.

Tip: This is one of the reasons why a newsletter is such a great tool for a coaching practice.

P.S. By the way, for all those who have asked me, yes the 'How to Have a Client-Attracting Newsletter' product is nearing completion - finally :-) I'm putting the finishing touches to it will be available soon. Send me an e-mail with your questions on newsletters if you like.

So, do you know the easy crowd?

With very best wishes,

Shaun
